File Format Chart

Didger supports several file formats to aid in the exchange of projects with other applications. Files from other applications can be imported into Didger as stand-alone graphics or as a base map that can be edited in Didger.

Didger allows the information to be stored in and recalled from several types of files. There are a number of important distinctions that can be made for different file types because each file format uses a unique set of characteristics. The important file format characteristics are outlined in the following table.

Import

The file types that can be imported into Didger are checked in the Import column. Use File | Import to load this format into Didger.

Export

The file types that can be exported from Didger are checked in the Export column. Use File | Export to save this format for use in other programs. Note that images are excluded from export in vector formats.
