There are two methods of clipping images in a Didger project. The image can be clipped based on a polygon or the image can be clipped to remove the map collar that may exist with USGS topographic maps.
Images can also be cropped using the Image | Crop Image command. Cropped images remove the outside cropped portion. After closing the file, the cropped portion cannot be retrieved. Clipped images can be reverted to the original image with the Image | Remove Clipping command.
