Vector Files

Vector files contain polylines, polygons, points, and sometimes text, in their original object form. This means a polyline in a Didger project is a polyline in the vector file. Vector formats sometimes contain object properties, such as line color, but usually, they are spatial formats. Spatial formats contain polylines, polygons, and points in their proper locations with world coordinates, but do not preserve color, fill patterns, text, etc.
