Click the View | Change Plot Color command to open the Select Color dialog. In the dialog, change the background plot window color. The background is the area behind all objects in the plot. The background is not exported and is for display only. The default color is white.

The Color is the color of the background. Click the existing color sample next to Color to open the color palette. Click on a color in the palette to use it for the selected background color. Click the Custom button at the bottom of the palette to open the Colors dialog and create custom colors.
