Delete

Click on any object to select it. Click the Edit | Delete command, click the button, right-click and select Delete, or press the DELETE key on the keyboard to remove the selected object from the window. The Delete command does not affect the contents of the clipboard. Any information in the clipboard is retained when you choose the Delete command.

An object can sometimes be restored by clicking the Edit | Undo command.
